Stars Hollow Froyo 5.10 But Not as Cute as Pushkin

“I have to go.” “To the froyo social?” “Yes, I have to go to the froyo social. And yes, I do realize how incredibly stupid that just sounded. Excuse me.”

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of honey vanilla Greek yogurt (you can use a different flavor if you prefer)

  • Froyo toppings- If you’re recreating the Stars Hollow bowl, you’ll need the following:

  • Peach Sauce

  • Whipped Cream

  • Peanuts

  • Chocolate-covered espresso beans

  • Chocolate-covered oreos

  • Twix

  • Brownies

  • Red velvet cake

  • Blueberries

  • Plum

  • Rainbow sprinkles

Directions:

Note: Normally, I try to make my recipes accessible for those that don’t have specific appliances. However, because I have only attempted to make frozen yogurt in an ice cream maker, I do not have separate instructions for use without an ice cream maker. It’s just a matter of freezing Greek yogurt and churning every 30 minutes or so, but I don’t know the length of time to freeze to make sure you get the right consistency. It’s still pretty easy though, so I encourage you to test it out, and if you find the perfect freezing time, please let me know!

  1. Add Greek yogurt to the drum of your ice cream maker. Follow the instructions for churning time until the yogurt becomes frozen and firm. For me, this was just over 15 minutes.

  2. Scoop out the frozen yogurt into bowls and add any toppings you prefer.

The froyo before the toppings!

While this is probably the easiest recipe I’ve ever done—literally just freezing yogurt, I didn’t want to leave it at that. If you’ve been here a while, then you’ll likely know that most of the time, I like to be extra. And that’s exactly what I did with this bowl of froyo! I had the idea of what if Stars Hollow came together to host their own Froyo Social? I imagined everyone would bring their favorite toppings, so I put together a bowl of froyo of all of those Stars Hollow toppings. Each topping represents a resident of Stars Hollow. I’m not going to reveal which ingredient is for which townie until I post my reel on Instagram on Sunday. So make sure you’re following me there for the answers. But definitely comment your guesses down below in the meantime!
